Jessica specializes in providing support to military service members experiencing combat trauma, PTSD, TBI’s and transition to the civilian sector upon separation. Additionally, she specializes in child/adolescents, pregnant/parenting teen mothers, custody cases, LGBTQIA+ individuals, seniors, and those facing severe mental health conditions like Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. She particularly focuses on guiding individuals dealing with suicidal ideations, homicidal ideations, or self-harm.

Ashley Esqueda is a dedicated therapist with a deep-rooted passion for mental health and counseling. Born and raised in Galveston, Texas, Ashley now calls Houston, Texas, her home. She holds a Master’s Level graduate degree in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Throughout her career, Ashley has accumulated valuable experience working with children, a field she has always found immensely fulfilling. Her journey led her to join the Empowering Horizons fellowship program, where she mentors middle school students while continuously enhancing her training. This program has not only been a source of insight and growth for Ashley but also a rewarding experience for the children she guides.
While Ashley has thrived in mentoring, she has also felt a strong pull towards Crisis Counseling within the realm of Mental Health. Her fervent dedication to mental well-being drives her to be a source of support during critical moments of need.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate dedicated to providing client-centered care to individuals navigating life’s challenges. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. My passion is working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, a range of severe mental health disorders, and life transitions.
I have experience in different settings, such as inpatient treatment facilities and non-profit organizations. I specialize in children/adolescents, trauma recovery, and individuals dealing with suicidal ideation and self-harm. My counseling approach is integrated through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centered, and play therapy when working with children.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to identify their strengths, explore their emotions, and work toward meaningful growth. I am devoted to fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and collaboration.

Specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics, Joe uses a holistic, client-centered approach to guide clients toward healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.
Joe earned his Master’s degree in counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University, where he received comprehensive training in therapeutic techniques and psychological theories. As a licensed professional, he is committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. He believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to facilitate meaningful change and empower individuals to reach their goals.
Throughout his career, Joe has worked with diverse populations, including military service members, children, couples, and families. His approach is rooted in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but he is also open to integrating other modalities that best suit the needs of each client.
In addition to individual therapy, Joe also offers group counseling, couples counseling, and workshops, helping clients develop effective coping strategies and build emotional resilience. Christa
Christa is a 21-year veteran of the United States Air Force and Air National Guard having served the State of Nevada and the federal government as a full-time dual-status military/ federal civilian employee since 2003. She has several deployments to Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Central America as a C-130 Aircraft loadmaster instructor/evaluator and Joint Airdrop Inspector. Having experienced what many veterans do in the line of duty, Christa found her calling to help others while in treatment for her own trauma.
Christa holds a BA in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Nevada Reno. She is the head of Business Development for First Responder Therapy Solutions and a certified life coach.

Hello, I'm Brenda Reed, administrative assistant to Jessica Manciallas-Flores. With 25 years of experience in the financial industry, primarily in mortgage banking, I bring organizational expertise and exceptional communication skills to support our therapy practice.
Outside the office, I'm proud to come from a family of service-oriented individuals. As the daughter of a Vietnam War Air Force veteran and wife of a dedicated first responder, I value dedication, resilience, and compassion.
Personally, I've been blessed with a loving marriage of 32 years and four wonderful children. My life experiences have taught me empathy, adaptability, and the importance of balance – essential qualities in supporting our clients' journeys.
I'm honored to be part of this therapeutic team, providing administrative support to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for our patients.

When coming to our office if you have any questions she is more than happy to help in any way she can.

I'm a 5-year-old Terrier mix and I joined the First Responder community on August 21, 2024, when my family welcomed me as a stray. My serious and courageous nature charmed them, and they couldn't help but adopt me. I consider that a wonderful outcome! I spend a lot of time at work supporting my First Responders during their sessions. I'm also quite at ease in various environments because my favorite role is bringing smiles to people's faces.
